Provider Enrollment Application Fee Amount Announced for CY 2018

On December 4th, CMS issued a notice for the Provider Enrollment Application Fee Amount for Calendar Year 2018.
Effective January 1st, 2018, the CY 2018 application fee is $569 for institutional providers that are:
- Initially enrolling in the Medicare or Medicaid program or the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP)
- Revalidating their Medicare, Medicaid, or CHIP enrollment
- Adding a new Medicare practice location
This fee applies to any provider or supplier that submits a Medicare Enrollment application using the forms CMS-855A or CMS-855B applications, not including physician and non-physician practitioner organizations.
