The Heart of AdvantEdge: Meet Stephanie Plutnicki, Coding Manager

Meet Stephanie Plutnicki, coding manager located in our Salem, New Hampshire office. Stephanie first joined the AdvantEdge Team in 1999, working part-time posting payments and charges.  Twenty years later, Stephanie continues to be a valuable part of the AdvantEdge team.

Stephanie earned her Certified Professional Coder (CPC®) certification from the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) in 2003 and has been a coding manager at AdvantEdge for the past three years. She says she likes that her job brings something different day-to-day and allows her to “be a detective” when identifying and resolving client issues.

On an average day, Stephanie supervises a group of coders in managing day-to-day production involving front-end coding and coding related denials. She is also the liaison for the AdvantEdge global coding team and spends much of her time partnering with the client management team, to ensure all processes are on track and client questions, regarding documentation and coding procedures, are answered.

Stephanie completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy at Russell Sage College.  She currently resides in New Hampshire, where she has lived since she was five years old. Outside of the office Stephanie is an avid reader and enjoys spending her free time boating with family and friends on Lake Winnipesaukee.
