Comments Due on ACO Proposed Ruling

May 12, 2011 – You have until June 6, 2011, to submit your comments to CMS showing your support of or concerns about the Accountable Care Organization (ACO) proposed rule created under the Accountable Care Act’s Shared Savings Program issued on March 31, 2011.  The program creates incentives for health care providers to work together to treat Medicare beneficiaries across care settings through ACO organizations, including doctors’ offices, hospitals, and long-term care facilities. CMS encourages all interested providers to submit comments for CMS to consider as it develops final regulations on the program.  Comments may be sent via express or overnight mail to:
