CMS Provides First Medicare EHR Incentive Payments Totaling $75 million
June 16, 2011 – The first payments from the Medicare EHR incentive program were issued on May 19 in the amount of $75 million. In addition to these payments, fifteen (15) states have initiated their Medicaid EHR incentive programs since January 2011. As of June 3, over $83 million in incentive payments have been made to qualified Medicaid providers.
