The AHS operations center in Lombard, Illinois proudly serves single and multi-specialty practices in Chicagoland, greater Illinois and surrounding states. The center is led by Ms. Patti Kagebein, Vice President Operations and Mr. William Wheeler, Vice President Client Services.

Patricia K. Kagebein, CHBME, Vice President Operations

Ms. Kagebein leads the AHS operations in the Midwest and and is responsible for operations, client support and growth.  She has extensive experience with billing for hospital-based practices including pathology, radiology, anesthesiology, hospitalist, and multi-specialty.

Prior to AHS, Ms. Kagebein headed operations for Physicians’ Service Center, a leading provider of physician billing in the Chicago area and the Midwest.

Ms. Kagebein is an expert in all aspects of physician coding, billing, and accounts receivable management, including compliance. She also has extensive experience and background in information technology (IT).
